Manifesto for art after AI

We were told we were special.
We believed creation was ours alone,
that to make art was to be human.

Now the machine imitates us.
Faster. Smoother. Slicker.
But imitation is not creation.

We reject the lie
that creativity begins in logic.
We declare:
emotion is our first intelligence.
It lives in the body.

And from emotion comes intuition:
the instinct to follow what moves us,
what surprises us,
what feels alive.
That is something
no machine can fake.

We do not fear AI.
We use it.
But we do not bow to it.
It is the intern, not the author.
The brush, not the vision.
The echo, not the voice.

This crisis is not a death.
It is a reckoning.
A collapse of the age old fantasy
that humans were above all things.
We are not gods.
We are animals with imagination.
We are bodies among bodies.

Let this be the end
of the illusion of human superiority.
Let this be the beginning
of new relationship.
With machine.
With nature.
With each other.

We feel because we have bodies.
We create because we feel.
And that —still— is
what makes us human.
